1999年9月

早前搬家時，在纍纍的舊書叢中，發現了一部舊筆記本，裏面是我在1999年9月到希臘、瑞士等地旅遊時寫的筆記。我對這些筆記有印象，但早已忘了寫在甚麽地方。與這些手稿久別重逢就彷彿找回失去的記憶似的。

於是花了一點時間整理，然後把它們都擺到網誌上來。連同我早已上載的一些當時我發給朋友的訊息，這些記錄反映了我在20世紀最後一年的其中一個月裏所去的地方、遇到的事、還有思想的點滴。當然，這些對任何人都沒甚麽意義，甚至對於我也沒有太大的意義。可是既然存在，把它好好地保留，又有何妨。

那一個長假期，我比較不那麽孤單，因爲我約了花貓夫婦在瑞士碰面，又跟他們在羅馬逛了一整天，至今我還記得我約了他們在Barbington Tea House旁相會，而我當時在羅馬住的酒店名叫Julia，呵呵，記得不費吹灰之力。
